What this test measures

+

Nine cardiometabolic markers from one dried blood spot: HOMA-IR (insulin resistance, estimated from fasting insulin and HbA1c), Insulin, hsCRP (inflammation), Hemoglobin A1c (3-month blood sugar), Triglycerides, Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and VLDL.

How collection works

+

Wash your hands, use the included lancet for a single finger-prick, and fill the marked circles on the collection card. Let it dry, fill in your details, and mail it back in the prepaid envelope. About five minutes, start to finish. Collect fasted, first thing in the morning, for the most useful insulin result.

When you get results

+

Your sample is analyzed at our clinical laboratory. Your report typically lands in your secure portal about a week after your sample arrives, with each marker placed on its reference range, highs and lows flagged, and next steps attached.

Who this test is for

+

Adults who want a clear cardiometabolic baseline. Then watch it respond to nutrition, movement, sleep, and where appropriate, medication.

If you have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners, consult your physician before using this kit. This test is for wellness purposes and is not a substitute for medical advice.

The nine markers

Numbers you can't feel. Until they matter.

Your report shows each result against its reference range, flags what's high or low, and pairs it with the Measure → Modify → Monitor plan to move it — with your provider, over time.

HOMA-IR

Insulin resistance — how hard your body works to keep blood sugar stable.

under 1.5

Insulin

The hormone behind energy storage; high fasting levels precede blood sugar problems by years.

1–15 μIU/mL · optimal 2–6

hsCRP

High-sensitivity C-reactive protein — quiet, systemic inflammation.

under 3 mg/L

Hemoglobin A1c

Your average blood sugar over the past ~3 months.

under 6%

Triglycerides

Circulating fat — sensitive to sugar, alcohol, and refined carbs.

under 150 mg/dL

Total Cholesterol

The headline lipid number, in context of the ones below.

under 200 mg/dL

HDL

The "helpful" cholesterol that clears the rest.

40 mg/dL or higher

LDL

The particle most tied to arterial plaque over time.

under 130 · optimal under 100

VLDL

The triglyceride-carrying particle — a window on metabolic load.

under 30 mg/dL
