What this test measures

+

Your Omega-3 Index: the percentage of EPA and DHA (the two key marine omega-3 fatty acids) in your red blood cell membranes. An index of 8% to 12% is one marker of better overall health, supporting heart, brain, eye, and joint health. The reference range covers approximately 99% of US adults (2.90% to 12.90%).

How collection works

+

Wash your hands, use the included lancet for a single finger-prick, and place one drop of blood in the center circle of the collection card. Let it dry, fill in your details, and mail it back in the prepaid envelope. About five minutes, start to finish.

When you get results

+

Your sample is analyzed at our clinical laboratory. Your report typically lands in your secure portal about a week after your sample arrives, with your score, what it means, and your next steps.

Who this test is for

+

Adults who want to know whether their diet or supplement routine is actually working. If you have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners, consult your physician before using this kit.

This test is for wellness purposes and is not a substitute for medical advice.

Your report

One score. A plan attached.

No jargon walls. Your report shows your index against the desirable 8–12% range, explains what it means for heart, brain, eye, and joint health — then walks you through the loop: measure your baseline, modify with fatty fish or a quality supplement, and monitor with a re-test in 3–4 months.
